Delete your account

Garmin TXT Reader currently handles full account-deletion requests manually. Follow these steps to request deletion of your account and associated cloud data.

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Before requesting deletion

  1. If you have an active subscription or trial, sign in, open Billing, and cancel it through the Stripe customer portal. Deleting a Garmin TXT Reader account is not a substitute for canceling an active Stripe subscription.
  2. Keep a copy of any original TXT files you need. Account deletion is irreversible for cloud copies.
  3. Delete or reset local books on each watch if you also want those offline copies removed.

If you only want to remove one book or revoke one watch, use the Library or Devices page instead of deleting the entire account.

Send a deletion request

  1. Email txtreader@li2niu.com.
  2. Use the subject Delete my Garmin TXT Reader account.
  3. Send the message from the Google email address used to sign in.
  4. State clearly that you want the Garmin TXT Reader account and associated cloud data deleted.

We may reply with a limited verification step or ask you to confirm the request from the signed-in account. This protects against someone deleting an account they do not own.

Do not send your password, payment-card details, session token, pairing code, watch token, or TXT book content. We do not need them to verify a deletion request.

What we delete after verification

  • Your Garmin TXT Reader profile and linked Google account identifier.
  • Active and expired application sessions associated with the account.
  • Cloud TXT source files, generated chapter copies, and immutable transfer blocks under your account.
  • Book and chapter metadata, paired-device records, hashed watch credentials, pairing records, queued transfers, and transfer history associated with the account.
  • The application’s local entitlement projection and Stripe-reference records that are not required to be retained.

The current process is an operator-assisted deletion, not an automatic web form. We use the account’s stored records to identify database and private object-storage data and will tell you when the request has been processed.

What may remain

Stripe independently retains payment, invoice, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute records under its own policies and applicable law. Cancel the subscription first, and contact Stripe or Garmin TXT Reader support if you have a payment-data request.

Limited records may also remain temporarily in infrastructure logs or backups, or where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, accounting, or compliance. Those records are isolated from normal product use and are not kept for advertising.

Content already on your watch

Account deletion cannot remotely erase offline TXT chapters already saved on a Garmin watch. Remove the books or use the reset application-storage option in TXT Reader on each watch. Removing the watch application through Garmin Connect IQ may also remove its local application data according to Garmin’s platform behavior.

Google connection

Garmin TXT Reader does not retain Google access or refresh tokens. After deletion, you can also review and remove the app connection from your Google Account connections.

Timing and confirmation

Requests are handled manually. After identity verification, we will explain the expected timing and email you when the account-side request has been processed or if additional information or time is required under applicable law.
